# Privacy Policy for iDecalogo

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use **iDecalogo** or **iDecalogo Free** (together, the "Apps").

iDecalogo is available in two versions:

- **iDecalogo** is the paid version and does not contain advertising.
- **iDecalogo Free** is supported by advertising and displays only non-personalized ads.

## 1. Information we collect

The Apps do not require you to create an account and do not ask you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.

However, certain technical and usage information is automatically processed through the third-party services described below.

### Usage analytics

Both versions of iDecalogo use **Google Firebase Analytics** to help us understand how the Apps are used and improve their functionality.

Firebase Analytics may automatically process information such as:

- app launches and sessions;
- interactions with screens and features;
- app version;
- operating system and device model;
- language and general device information;
- approximate geographic information;
- an app-instance identifier used to distinguish installations of the App.

We use this information to understand general usage patterns, identify popular or unused features, and improve the Apps.

We do not use Firebase Analytics to build advertising profiles about users.

### Crash and diagnostic information

Both versions of iDecalogo use **Firebase Crashlytics** to identify crashes, errors, and technical problems.

Crashlytics may process information such as:

- crash reports and stack traces;
- app version;
- operating system version;
- device model and technical characteristics;
- timestamps;
- installation identifiers; and
- technical information about the state of the App when an error occurred.

This information is used solely to maintain the stability, security, and performance of the Apps.

We do not intentionally include names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information in Crashlytics reports.

## 2. Advertising in iDecalogo Free

**iDecalogo Free** uses **Google AdMob** to display advertisements.

The paid version of **iDecalogo does not contain advertising and does not use AdMob to display ads.**

iDecalogo Free is configured to request **non-personalized advertisements**.

Non-personalized ads are not selected based on your previous activity, interests, or an advertising profile. They may instead be selected using contextual information, such as the content of the App and approximate geographic information.

Even when advertisements are non-personalized, Google and its advertising technologies may process limited technical information for purposes such as:

- delivering advertisements;
- limiting how often the same advertisement is displayed;
- measuring aggregated advertising performance;
- detecting invalid traffic, fraud, and abuse;
- maintaining the security of advertising systems.

Depending on the device, jurisdiction, and applicable privacy settings, this information may include device information, IP address, application information, and device or advertising identifiers.

We do not use AdMob to serve personalized advertisements.

Google processes information collected through AdMob according to Google's own privacy policies and applicable contractual and legal requirements.

## 3. Consent and privacy choices

Privacy laws in some countries require consent before certain technologies or identifiers can be used.

Where required by applicable law, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App may display a privacy or consent message provided through Google's consent-management technology.

Your available choices depend on your jurisdiction and Google's applicable advertising technologies.

Regardless of those choices, iDecalogo Free is configured to serve non-personalized rather than interest-based advertising.

Where consent is the legal basis for processing, you may withdraw that consent at any time using the privacy choices made available in the App or by contacting us.

## 4. How we use information

Information processed through the Apps is used only for purposes reasonably necessary to operate and improve iDecalogo, including:

- operating and maintaining the Apps;
- understanding how features are used;
- identifying and resolving crashes and technical problems;
- improving performance and usability;
- protecting the Apps and associated services from abuse or security threats; and
- displaying non-personalized advertising in iDecalogo Free.

We do not use the information collected through the Apps to create our own profiles of individual users for marketing purposes.

## 5. Third-party services

The Apps use services provided by Google, including:

- **Firebase Analytics**
- **Firebase Crashlytics**
- **Google AdMob**, in iDecalogo Free only

These services may automatically receive technical information from your device as described in this Privacy Policy.

Google processes information according to its own privacy policies, terms, and data-processing arrangements.

## 6. Legal bases for processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), Swiss data-protection law, or similar legislation applies, we process information only where there is an appropriate legal basis.

Depending on the processing activity, this may include:

**Legitimate interests.** We have a legitimate interest in maintaining, securing, troubleshooting, and improving the Apps. This includes the use of crash diagnostics and certain limited analytics where permitted by applicable law.

**Consent.** Where applicable law requires consent for analytics, advertising technologies, device identifiers, local storage, or similar technologies, processing is based on your consent.

**Legal obligations.** We may process or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.

We do not use personal data for personalized advertising.

## 7. Sharing of information

We do not directly sell personal information.

Information may be processed by Google in connection with Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and, for iDecalogo Free, Google AdMob.

We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or where reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of the Apps.

## 8. International data transfers

Google operates services using infrastructure located in multiple countries.

As a result, technical and usage information processed through Firebase or AdMob may be transferred to or processed in countries outside your country of residence, including countries outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area.

Where required by applicable law, such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards, including contractual data-protection measures.

## 9. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Most information described in this policy is processed and stored by Google rather than directly by us.

Firebase Crashlytics generally retains crash stack traces and associated installation identifiers for a limited period before beginning their removal.

Firebase Analytics information is retained according to the retention settings applicable to our Firebase/Google Analytics configuration and Google's applicable retention policies.

Aggregated or anonymized information that no longer identifies an individual or device may be retained for longer periods for statistical purposes.

## 10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information relating to you, including the right to:

- request access to personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of information;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- receive information about how your data is processed.

Because iDecalogo does not require an account and does not directly collect your name or email address, we may not always be able to associate information stored by Firebase or other services with a particular individual.

## 11. Children

iDecalogo is a general-audience application and does not require users to create accounts or submit names, email addresses, or other profile information.

We do not knowingly request or intentionally collect directly identifying personal information from children through the Apps.

iDecalogo Free uses only non-personalized advertising.

## 12. App Store purchases

Purchases of the paid version of iDecalogo are processed by Apple through the App Store.

We do not receive or process your payment-card or banking information. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and terms.

We take reasonable steps to limit the information collected through the Apps and rely on established service providers for analytics, diagnostics, and advertising infrastructure.

However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

## 14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the Apps, the services they use, or applicable legal requirements change.

When we make material changes, we will update the **"Last updated"** date at the top of this policy.
